ORGANIC PRODUCTION
Regarding the organic production, regulations limit the quantity of sulphur dioxide that can be used, approximately half the levels permitted in a conventional cellar. For that reason, in ‘Bodegas Los Frailes’ we maintain our facilities at the utmost hygienic conditions. In addition, all yeast used is indigenous to the ‘‘Els Alforins’’ valley.

‘Bodegas Los Frailes’ we have not been only
committed to the environmental sustainability of our grapes but also to
the health benefits from our wine. Resveratrol, the grape compound unique
for its ability to battle heart diseases is reaching maximum levels in
our wine. This sustained high performance is due to the unique combination
of our organic treatments and Monastrell variety one with the highest
content in Resveratrol.
Resveratrol has been shown to reduce tumor incidence, anti-cancer effects, reduce inflammation and antioxidant. Scientists are studying resveratrol to learn more about its cancer preventive activities. Recent evidence from studies suggests this anti-inflammatory compound may be effective in several cancers, leukemia, skin, breast, and prostate cancers.
